Hardik Pandya‘s six to give India victory against Pakistan has become a moment that fans would love to revisit while remembering India vs Pakistan rivaly in the sport. The match looked a lot in India’s favour but Pakistan bowlers’ displayed a strong fight that restricted India an easy win.

In the penultimate over, Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja were at the crease and everything looked in India’s favour. But Jadeja lost his wicket after his 35-run knock off 29 balls on the very first ball of the final over bowled by Mohammad Nawaz.

Dinesh Karthik, India’s perfect finisher, entered the crease. After a dot ball, Pandya nodded with full confidence, must be assuring Karthik that he can finish the match. And so he did. The ball crossed the boundary beautifully and Pandya’s calm disposition during that time is storming the internet.

Meanwhile, after choosing to bowl first, India bundled out Pakistan on 147 with the help of Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s four-wicket haul. Pandya displayed all-round performance in the match, and had scalped three wickets as well.

Virat Kohli and Jadeja scored 35 runs while Pandya scored an unbeaten and quick 33 runs off 17 balls that included four boundaries and a lone six, helping India avenge last year’s 10-wicket loss to Pakistan in style. He was the adjudged with the Player of the Match award.

“We wanted to play till the end, they have a very good bowling attack, their fast bowlers don’t give anything away,” Jadeja said after his crucial innings.

“I could have finished the game – left-arm spinner against a left-hander, but Hardik played superbly.”

“He came out and said he was going to play his shots, and happy that he stayed till the end,” said Jadeja added.
