“Total Dominance”- Heinrich Klaasen’s 81 powers South Africa 2nd victory over India despite Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s 4-fer

India didn’t give a competitive target to South Africa on the 2nd game of the five-match T20I series. With the help of Dinesh Karthik’s knock in the first innings, India gave a target of 149 on June 12, Sunday, at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack.
In the first innings, India’s Ishan Kishan started with a quick knock of 34 runs off 21 balls with three sixes and two boundaries, however he lost his wicket. So were Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya. It was Shreyas Iyer and Dinesh Karthik who helped their team reach a decent total of 148/6.
South Africa responded by losing one of their openers Reeza Heindricks off Bhuvneshwar Kumar‘s ball. Africa skipper Temba Bavima played a captain’s knock and scored 35 runs off 30 balls with four fours and a six. But Yuzvendra Chahal made sure that Bavuma won’t drag his run to a higher score. Then South Africa saw some wickets started falling quickly.
Only one player stayed at the crease; he is Heinrich Klaasen. Klaasen played a knock of 81 off 46 balls with seven sixes and five. However, he fell prey to Harshal Patel’s ball in the 16.6 overs. While David Miller yet again played an anchor’s role and helped to run the chase with his 20 runs off 15 overs. ‘Man of the Match’ was also awarded to Klaasen. Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up the wickets of Temba Bavuma, Reeza Hendricks, Dwaine Pretorius, and Rassie van der Russen.
