Jasprit Bumrah and wife Sajana Ganesan blessed with baby boy! Know the name of the child
Bumrah will be back to play for India for the Super 4.

Bumrah and his wife had their son on 4th September
On 4th September, Jasprit Bumrah announced on Instagram and X that he and his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, have been blessed with a baby boy. Bumrah travelled to India from Sri Lanka to be present for the birth of his child.
A day after his vital knock against Pakistan in the 2023 Asia Cup, reports came out that Bumrah will be travelling to India for personal reasons, but was later confirmed that he had to travel for the birth of his child.
The baby was born on the morning of 4th September and Bumrah announced it on Instagram and X. The couple have decided to name their son Angad. Bumrah missed India’s match against Nepal.

Bumrah will return for the Super 4 stage

After missing over 11 months of cricket, Jasprit Bumrah returned to the International stage against Ireland. After picking up 4 wickets in 2 games, Bumrah was selected in the 2023 Asia Cup Squad.
Although India didn’t bowl against Pakistan in their first match of the Asia Cup, Bumrah had an important part. In the 14 balls he played, Bumrah scored 16 runs. He was the third highest run scorer for India in that innings after Hardik Pandya and Ishan Kishan. He had hit Naseem Shah, Shaheeh Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf for boundaries.
Bumrah travelled to India on 3rd September for the birth of his child. The team management confirmed that he would miss their match against Nepal for the same. They did confirm that he would be back for the Super 4 stage of the 2023 Asia Cup which will begin on 6th September.
Bumrah last bowled in an ODI match on 14th June against England in India’s Tour of England. He had picked up 2 wickets in that match.
