“Fiery spell!”- Jasprit Bumrah at his scary best; creates unique record as DC set target of 160

Talking about the match, Mumbai have won the toss and opted to bowl first. Delhi soon lost their opening batsmen David Warner and Prithwi Shaw. Daniel Sams was the bowler to dismiss Warner but a quick bouncer from Jasprit Bumrah suprised Shaw after which he lost his wicket.

While opening his over Bumrah had sent Mitchell Marsh too with a bouncer. It was Rishabh Pant who then, playing slowly, at least helped to revive the innings. At the other end was West Indian power Rovman Powell who smashed 4 sixes and a four to score 43 off 34 balls. But Jasprit Bumrah bowled him with a searing yorker.

In the 19th over, Bumrah bowled a yorker which was angled around off. Powell tried to sweep it without much conviction and the ball had gone to disturb the stumps so that’s how Mumbai then were able to restrict some 15-20 runs by dismissing the Carribean power. Bumrah got 3 wickets in this match.

If Delhi Capitals win this match, they will replace Royal Challengers Bangalore in the fourth place on the points table. DC will have 16 points if they win, RCB already have 16 points. But DC have an advantage of a superior run rate which will lead them to the playoffs.
