Virat Kohli scored a much relieving 50 against the Gujrat Titans as the 33 year old has slowly started to get back in form. Following a disappointing IPL 2022, which saw Virat Kohli get out for a duck on 3 occasions, the former India captain finally managed to score a calm 54 ball 73 and help RCB win against the Gujrat Titans.

The win also put RCB back on the 4th spot on the points table. They should stay there and qualify for the playoffs as long as Mumbai Indians manage to beat the Delhi Capitals tonight. Kohli’s knock was appreciated by many and even by the master blaster himself. Sachin Tendulkar while speaking on his Youtube channel spoke about how impressed he was by Kohli’s batting.

Virat Kohli’s 73 gave RCB their victory but their play-off hopes are still dependent on the result of Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals. With a negative net run rate, RCB could go down to 5th if DC win and go level on points with the Royals. Whoever qualifies will play the eliminator against the Lucknow Super Giants while Rajasthan and Gujrat play qualifier 1.
