Chennai will be in a state of shock. They executed much of the things correctly on the field, but they lost the thread in the end. Surprisingly, something similar happened during their batting innings. They squandered a solid position for a huge score in the last six overs, managing only 45 runs. All of these variables played a part. Despite a strong start with the ball, Chennai should really have won this game, but they were on the other side of David Miller.

Although Miller was the sole fighter in this chase, Rashid Khan’s participation cannot be overlooked. In the 18th over, the Afghan went crazy and targeted Chris Jordan, scoring 25 runs to keep the chase alive. After that, the equation was whittled down, and despite Rashid’s exit, David Miller was just there to complete the job. In retrospect, the time in the 17th over when Shivam Dube missed the ball in the lights and Miller managed to escape proved to be pivotal. In this style, those small moments always sting.

Phew! What a 180-degree turn! What an adventure! David Miller, take a bow! Rashid Khan, take a bow! After early punches, they had lost control of the game. The dismissal of Rahul Tewatia put them even further behind. David Miller, on the other hand, refused to give up. The South African responded to the situation and proved that his moniker of ‘Killer Miller was well-deserved.

In a brief conversation with Abhinav Manohar, he praises Miller’s performance and is thrilled with the victory. Mentions that it was a terrific team effort and that they performed admirably and Rashid also took the stress well and was proficient with both the bat and the ball. He expresses his gratitude for the opportunity he is receiving and that he is spending his time.
