DC vs PBKS

Punjab Kings‘ (PBKS) Harpreet Brar was the wrecker-in-chief as he ran through Delhi Capitals’ (DC) batting lineup to wrap up the match in favor of his team. PBKS easily won the match by 31 runs on Saturday (May 13) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.

While chasing a small 160-run total, DC opener David Warner did not continue his sluggish half-century here, for me slammed 54 runs from 27 balls at a 200-strike rate. At first, DC’s opening stand of 69 runs made it look easy for the hosts to emerge victorious, but Harpreet spoiled the powerful start.

He first dismissed Phil Salt (27 off 17), then made Rilee Rossouw his next victim. An over later, Impact Player Manish Pandey departed for a duck off Harpreet’s delivery. David Warner was his next victim. The Punjab-born bowler completed his full quota of four overs for 30 runs. His bowling, plus Nathan Ellis and Rahul Chahar’s two wickets each, restricted the hosts to 136/8 to win the match by 31 runs.
