I take one meal but I prefer non-vegetarian. Because I do not take any supplements or similar things.
Shami said on Aaj Tak

He added:

Biryani ke liye main waise hi badnaam hu (I am infamous because of biryani anyway). I really like biryani because earlier, there was no such rigid routine. I was not aware of all the training regimes and what is good or bad for you. So, I used to eat quite a lot of it.

Shami further said that after injury, he started following a strict diet and made his own routine. He also talked about his workout regime, claiming that he lifts more weights than everyone else but has no interest in uploading them on social media. The UP-born revealed that he bench-presses 150 kg and leg-presses 750 kg.

In the interview, Shami said that no one knew that PM Modi would visit the dressing room, and when Modi entered, everyone had to keep their head high, that it was after Modi’s visit that they started talking to each other.
