India pacer Mohammed Siraj who is currently providing his services to the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has shared the dressing room with ex-RCB skipper Virat Kohli. In a recent interview, Siraj revealed Kohli’s night routine and hailed Kohli’s commitment and hunger to get better every time.

Kohli’s constant support has helped Siraj’s career a lot, the pacer himself claimed this on several occasions. Despite a sluggish start to his Indian Premier League (IPL) career, Kohli continued to support the Hyderabad-born bowler. In the ongoing IPL season, Siraj is the team’s leading wicket-taker as well as emerged as one of the best bowlers in white-ball cricket.

Siraj said no matter how Kohli performed in the matches, he goes to sleep maximum by 11 pm, and then the next morning, after breakfast, he hits the gym. The 29-year-old pacer also said Kohli doesn’t relax despite achieving so much in his career.

Virat Bhaiya maximum by 11 pm is off to bed. Whether he scores a hundred or zero, he follows a set routine and will meet you at breakfast and then in the gym. The fitness standards he has set have been just next level. He is not getting relaxed even after achieving so much. He is still hungry and wants to get better. Hats off,” Siraj said in the latest episode of Breakfast with Champions on YouTube.

In that same interview, Mohammed Siraj revealed a bizarre tale from his younger days. He stated that he had to run away from a hospital while suffering from dengue to practice to get selected. The RCB pacer claimed that after playing cricket, the disease went away.

Miraculously, I could bat, bowl, and field well and it just didn’t seem like I had dengue. I went back later and did the tests and there was absolutely no dengue. I still believe it’s a miracle,” Siraj added.
