Former India captain MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni were present during the launch of the trailer of the movie LGM (Let’s Get Married) in Chennai. LGM is produced by Dhoni Entertainment.

The reason why Dhoni produced the film in Tamil is because he loves Chennai. It’s not only because he captains Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and led the team to five trophies, but a lot of things related to his career happened here. He made his Test debut at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, also scored his highest score on the ground, and was roped in by CSK back in 2008.

There was a viral video of MS Dhoni shouting and swearing at his teammates during a match. When asked whether he taught any bad words to Sakshi, the 42-year-old revealed that though he knows bad words in other languages, he doesn’t know Tamil bad words but his wife knows some of them.

“How many of you are married here? You all know who is the boss of the house. So when my wife said that we will produce a film, I was shocked,” Dhoni said at the launch of the trailer of his film LGM in Chennai.

“My wife said she knows bad words in Tamil, but I didn’t teach any Tamil bad words to her as I don’t know any bad words in Tamil. But, I know in other languages.”

Meanwhile, the forthcoming film, LGM, which is a comedy-drama, has been directed by Ramesh Thamilmani. Sakshi helped in conceptualizing the project. Harish Kalyan, Nadiya, Ivana, and Yogi Babu starred in the movie and it will be released on July 31, 2023.
