Former India captain Virat Kohli‘s wife Anushka Sharma was seen riding on a motorbike after a tree blocked a small street in Mumbai. The video of the same was shared online and several fans questioned her why she is not wearing a helmet.

Two days after the incident, the Mumbai Traffic Police fined the Bollywood actress’ bodyguard Sonu Shaik who was driving the bike without a helmet and not having a valid license. As per other reports, the Police imposed a fine of RS 10,500 on the driver. The fine without the helmet was Rs 500, while the fine for driving without a license was around Rs 10,000.

On Twitter, Mumbai Traffic Police posted photos of the complaint and wrote: “Challan has been issued under Sec 129/194 (D), Sec 5/180 & Sec 3(1) 181 MC act to the driver along with a fine of Rs. 10500 & been paid by the offender.

Meanwhile, a couple of days ago, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma hosted a dinner party for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) players at Kohli’s resto-bar in Mumbai. RCB’s official Twitter handle shared the video of the same where the ‘Power Couple’ could be seen welcoming the teammates.

Yesterday, during RCB’s eight-wicket victory over the Sunrisers Hyderabad, Kohli hammered his sixth Indian Premier League (IPL) century. He scored 100 runs from 63 balls, including 12 boundaries and four sixes. RCB’s next do-or-die match is against Gujarat Titans on Sunday (May 21).
