Nepal U-19 lose match after getting all-out for 8 runs vs UAE

In ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qualifier in Malaysia, Nepal were bowled out for just eight runs in 8.1 overs and UAE won the match by 10 wickets in just seven balls (1.1 over).
ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup Asia Qulifier 2022 is played between Bhutan, Nepal, Thailand, Bhutan, Qatar, and UAE. The winner will book a spot in the inaugural ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup which will held in Januray in 2023 in South Africa.
Nepal had won the toss and opted to bat first and lost their first wicket without a single run. First, Anjali Bishowkarma got dismissed for a duck after playing three balls on the third ball of the second over. They lost three wickets in the third over with just two runs on the boards. In the third over then, they lost three wickets and another one in the fourth over. In four overs, the scoreboard read just 2/5.
It was all happenning in a bizzare way and before anyone could know what actually was happening, Nepal got all packed into the pavillion. Six batters including skipper Kritika Marasini got dismissed on duck. Top scorer was Sneha Mahara who scored three runs.
Mahika Gaur takes five wickets

Left-arm pacer Mahika Gaur , bowled two maiden overs and bagged five wickets from four overs and conceded only two runs. Indhuja Nandakumar and Samaira Dharnidharka picked three and one respectively.
UAE wasted no time and responded with openers Theertha Satish and Lavanya Keny scoring 4 off 4 balls and 3 off 4 balls respectively and won the match in just seven deliveries.
