MS Dhoni has started practicing for the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) which is just a month away. He recently visited the Deori Maa temple in Ranchi, the pictures and videos of which went viral.
And as the pictures of him practicing in the nets also surfaced on social media, fans noticed the sticker on his bat. The bat had the sticker of ‘Prime Sports’.
‘Prime Sports’ is a shop in Ranchi owned by Dhoni’s friend, Paramjit Singh. Paramjit had helped Dhoni early in his career by becoming his first bat sponsor. Even the biopic on Dhoni, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, highlighted Paramjit’s role in Dhoni’s career as well. As the picture went viral, fans praised Dhoni, saying, “Legend never forgets his past.”

Dhoni guided Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to their fifth IPL trophy last year after they defeated Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) in the final. Though he has not revealed anything about his retirement, the 42-year-old might be playing his last IPL tournament this year.
