The International Cricket Council (ICC) has finally released the much-awaited anthem for the 2023 ODI World Cup on Wednesday (September 20). The prestigious tournament will start in India on October 5. The anthem, ‘DIL JASHN BOLE’, featuring Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, did not make the fans happy it seems.
The song was written by Shloke Lal and Saaveri Verma, and composed by Pritam. It is sung by Pritam, Nakash Aziz, Sreerama Chandra, Amit Mishra, Jonita Gandhi, AKASA, and Charan.
Apart from Ranveer Singh, the song also features Dhanashree Verma, the wife of Yuzvendra Chahal who couldn’t cement his spot in the squad for the World Cup. Apart from a few YouTubers, cricket commentator and broadcaster Jatin Sapru also made an appearance toward the end of the song.
