Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, produced a lackluster show except for finisher Tim David‘s innings. Suryakumar Yadav flopped in this match, scoring seven runs from nine balls. Had he fired on all cylinders, MI would have easily chased down the target.

MI couldn’t capitalize on the decent start the openers, Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma gave. They stitched a 90-run stand between them in 10 overs but after their dismissals, the momentum shifted and slowly LSG started controlling the game. But MI’s lackluster game later cost them the match. Mohsin Khan also delivered a brilliant spell in the last over.
