It’s safe to say Nicholas Pooran was in a different world batting for MI New York in the MLC 2023 final. The Windies’ left-hander went berserk as he smashed a whopping thirteen sixes to see his side home. Pooran smashed an unbeaten 137 off just 55 deliveries.

MI New York beat the Seattle Orcas by 7 wickets after they chased down a target of 184 in just 16 overs thanks to Pooran’s monstrous innings. MI NY were crowned champions in the first-ever Major League Cricket final.

Just like their Indian counterparts, MI New York have also established their dominance in the tournament and is resounding fashion. The Kieron Pollard-led MI NY had reached the final after beating the Texas Super Kings in Qualifier 2.
