After the recently concluded match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI), several things became the talk of the town. And Arjun Tendulkar‘s conceding 31 runs was one of them. His over became one of the most expensive overs in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) and the second-costliest one for Mumbai.

But after the match, Punjab Kings owner Preity Zinta expressed her concern surrounding the criticism Arjun received for one worst show in the game. She is hoping to see the youngster come back strong after that match.

I hope everything goes well and everything goes fine. I do feel that one of the youngsters, whom I’ve seen as a small kid with chubby cheeks. I’m not saying this because of his famous surname (Tendulkar),” she said on Star Sports.

“I do feel for him today and I hope he comes back strong and he doesn’t get trolled for it and stuff like that because it happens with one and all,” she added.

During PBKS’ innings, Sam Curran and Jitesh Sharma’s exploits with the bat took the team to 214/8. Arjun Tendulkar conceded 48 runs in three overs with a wicket at an economy rate of 16.

During Mumbai’s run-chase, knocks from Cameron Green, Suryakumar Yadav, and Tim David took the team past 200 but they couldn’t pull off the victory owing to Arshdeep Singh who broke the middle stump off two consecutive deliveries in the last over to restrict the hosts at the Wankhede to 201/6 in their 20 overs.
