During the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were involved in another conflict in Indian Premier League (IPL). The reason behind this is not known yet but according to several videos posted on social media, the fight might have started during a heated argument between Kohli and LSG pacer Naveen ul Haq.
Then after the match, during the customary handshake, Kohli and Naveen continued their argument, and when the latter was having a conversation with Kyle Mayers, LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir interfered and took Mayers away from Kohli. Both Kohli and Gambhir started to go away but turned back charged toward each other and got involved in a war of words. KL Rahul, Faf du Plessis, Amit Mishra, and other players and officials intervened to stop it.
In another video, LSG skipper KL Rahul was talking with Kohli to sort things out and asked Naveen, maybe to apologize to the former RCB skipper. But Naveen refused it and walked out which Kohli did not like.
Both the players, Naveen and Kohli took to their official Instagram Stories and shared cryptic posts. Naveen took a direct jibe at Kohli by quoting what he said after the match.

Ravi Shastri says Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir should have handled things properly
Now former India head coach Ravi Shastri first pointed out that both Gambhir and Kohli will realize in a day or two that this could have been handled a lot better. He suggested that the best thing would be to sit with them and pacify the matter.
“Whoever does it, the sooner the better, because you don’t want this to spill off. Carrying on, the next time they meet again there are words exchanged and one thing leads to another. The sooner the better. If I have to do it (mediate between the two stars), so be it,” Shastri said on Star Sports.
