Ravindra Jadeja calls Sanjay Manjrekar ‘my dear friend’ and breaks the internet; commentator replies to the viral post

Ravindra Jadeja and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar have a history that started in the 2019 World Cup. But the recent post by Jadeja that has gone viral seemed to show the two must have reconciled. 

Manjrekar termed Jadeja as “bits and pieces” and the latter got angry and went on to say, “Still I have played twice the number of matches you have played and I m still playing. Learn to respect ppl who have achieved. I have heard enough of your verbal diarrhoea @sanjaymanjrekar.”

Jadeja was one of the stars during the match against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2022. After the clash, Manjrekar interviewed Jadeja but before, he asked this question: “You are okay to talk to me Jaddu, right“. Both of them laughed at this before Jadeja replied: “Yeah, yeah. Absolutely.”

Jadeja, on Monday, shared a post with the caption: “Watching my dear friend on screen @sanjaymanjrekar.” In the post, Manjrekar was presenting at the post-match presentation of the Legends League Cricket.

Later, Manjrekar replied Jadeja with: “Ha ha…and your dear friend looking forward to seeing you on the field soon.”

Ravindra Jadeja will miss ICC T20 World Cup 2022

Ravindra Jadeja has undergone knee surgery after the Asia Cup and right now he is recovering. Most importantly, he will miss ICC T20 World Cup 2022 which is to start in October. He didn’t participate in the three-match T20I versus Australia and also will miss the white-ball series against South Africa. Earlier, he had missed the ODI tour in West Indies due to a knee injury in July. 

He has so far played 64 T20Is, 171 ODIs and 60 Test matches for India. Jadeja’s absence has been taken care of by all-rounder Axar Patel.
