Earlier, after opting to bat first, RCB’s Ellyse Perry smacked her maiden half-century, with Sophie Devine scoring 36. Sophie Ecclestone conceded 13 runs while completing her four-fer, plus Deepti Sharma bagged three scalps to bundle out Smriti Mandhana and co. for 138.

RCB came close to victory against Gujarat Titans in their previous game after losing their previous matches by huge margins. Another defeat might end RCB’s chances to qualify for the knockout stage.
