Virat Kohli and his love for food is a topic his fans love to discuss. The former India captain, who claimed himself to be a voracious eater, is known for his strict diet and exercise right now to meet the requirements of competitive sport.

And even though many think that he deprives himself of guilty food items, they saw a Kohli who sprang in joy after seeing Delhi’s “Chhole Kulche” in the midst of a serious discussion with head coach Rahul Dravid. When that video surfaced online, it became instantly viral. The topic of discussion was whether it was Chhole Bhature (which Kohli used to devour when he was young) or Chhole Kulche. Dravid had to answer this question that it was Chhole Kulche after India’s victory in the Delhi Test.

And now another such incident was seen during the ongoing fourth Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on Thursday (March 9) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. During the morning session, Kohli, who was fielding at slips was caught picking out an energy bar from his pocket and munching it on just before Mohammed Shami’s delivery to Marnus Labuschage.

Kohli did not eat it alone. Shreyas Iyer, who was standing next to him got it from him and put it inside the pocket. This video is also doing rounds on social media. This is not the first time the 34-year-old caught snacking on chocolates during matches.

Earlier, Indian PM Narendra Modi and Australian PM Anthony Albanese marked their presence during the first hour of the morning session to celebrate 75 years of friendship through cricket. The two PMs gave the Tests caps to the respective captains of both teams, before going for a lap of honor.

After the toss when the two teams walked onto the ground for the national anthem with the two PMs, Kohli, and Rohit Sharma stood beside PM Modi, and this incident became the highlight of the occasion.

Now talking about the ongoing match, Australia chose to bat first after winning the toss and found themselves in a better position, unlike the first three Tests. So far they have reached 238/4 with Usman Khawaja and Cameron Green batting on 97* and 39* respectively. Amongst the bowlers, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja scalped one wicket, while Mohammed Shami picked up two.
