South Africa’s David Miller shared the news of the demise of her die-hard fan Ane, ahead of the second T20I against South Africa. The girl, Ane, had been battling cancer and passed away at the tender age of 10.
Miller took to Instagram to share reel with a heartfelt message: “RIP you little rockstar Love you always!“
Miller also posted an Instagram story with the message: “Going to miss you so much you skut! Thee biggest heart I’ve ever known. You took fighting to a different level- always incredibly positive and a smile on your face.
“A cheeky and mischievous side to you. You embraced every person and every challenge in your journey. You taught me so much about cherishing every single moment in life! I feel humbled to have walked a journey with you. I love you so much! RIP“.

Will David Miller take part in the 2nd ODI against India after the demise of his little fan?
Social media is confusing Ane with David Miller‘s daughter so there has been speculation regarding his participation in the second ODI. However, since Miller or Cricket South Africa haven’t put any statement regarding the same, the latter is likely to play the second game. Miller is currently in India, taking part in the three-match ODI series.
The Proteas won the first ODI by nine, while the second ODI is scheduled to take place on Sunday, October 9 in Ranchi. Miller scored the most runs for his team with his knock of an unbeaten 75 runs off 63 balls studded with five boundaries and 3 sixes at a strike rate of 119.05.
