It is not wrong to say that India captain Rohit Sharma has one of the most die-hard fanbases across the world where cricket is played. Several times, we have witnessed the craze of these fans for their idols that leads them to do almost anything to meet their stars.

One such incident took place at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Rohit and his men were walking back to the dressing room when one of the fans, who was in the stands, jumped and ran toward Rohit; the latter then agreed to take the selfie.

India received their first blow in the form of an injured Jasprit Bumrah missing the major tournament of the year- ICC T20 World Cup 2022. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) still hasn’t revealed the name of the bowler who is to replace Bumrah. Rohit Sharma said they’ll see who that bowler is in Australia, where the World Cup is scheduled to take place, starting on October 16.

Bumrah is out of the world cup; that will be a big miss. We need to find a guy, I don’t know who that guy is yet, there are a few guys..we will make that call in Australia,” Rohit said after the third T20I against South Africa.

We need to look at our bowling to see what more options we can find for in powerplay, middle overs and death overs. We are still working towards it. Guys need lot more clarity and it’s my job to make it happen. It’s a work in progress,” Rohit added while addressing the issues in the Indian bowling line-up.
