Youngsters doing wonders for the team with their incredible skills have impressed Indian captain Rohit Sharma. A day after their victory in the third Test at the Niranjan Shah Stadium in Rajkot, Sharma posted a story on his Instagram, lauding the three youngsters- Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sarfaraz Khan, and Dhruv Jurel.

Jaiswal, at 22, has two double centuries to his name. His first maiden 200 came in the second Test in Vizag and who would have thought the youngster would slam another one in the next match? In the second Test, he scored 290-ball 209 runs, while in the third Test, he scored 216* from 236 balls.

Sarfaraz, who made his debut in that match, scored a quick half-century (62 off 66). The 26-year-old then repeated it again by scoring an unbeaten 68 runs from 72 balls in the second innings.

Debutant Jurel, though he scored 46 off 104 in the first innings, was involved in running out Ben Duckett by showing an incredible presence of mind. Captain Sharma praised these three players in his own style, writing, “Ye Aajkal ke bacche (The kids of today).”

Jadeja conceded 41 runs in his 12.4 overs, with four maiden overs, at an economy rate of 3.24. His five-wicket-haul helped India bundle out the visitors for 122 runs. After the match, an elated captain Rohit Sharma refused to praise Jaiswal.

I have spoken a lot about him. In Vizag as well. People outside the change room have spoken as well. I don't want to talk too much about him, he has started his career on a high. I want him to continue doing so. Yeah, he looks a good player.

The fourth Test will get underway from February 23 in Ranchi. India are leading the five-match Test series 2-1.
