MS Dhoni, the former World Cup-winning Indian captain, received an invitation to attend the Ram consecration ceremony in Ayodhya. On Monday (January 15), the co-province secretary of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Dhananjay Singh, handed the invitation to Dhoni at his residence in Ranchi.

Along with Dhajanjay, Karmaveer Singh, the State Organization General Secretary of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) was also present there. The ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony is scheduled for January 22.

Before Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar received the invitation to attend the ceremony, with the latter receiving the invitation on January 13th. Along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, many celebrities from across different fields in India are expected to attend the consecration ceremony because, as per reports, the Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust is sending the invitation to over 6000 people.

Dhoni flew back to Ranchi recently after enjoying his vacation in Dubai to celebrate the New Year. Pictures and videos of Dhoni training at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium have already surfaced on the internet.

Shivam Dube credits MS Dhoni for his performance in T20I against Afghanistan

Shivam Dube is having a great T20I against Afghanistan, scoring his half-century in both matches. In the first match, he scored an unbeaten 63 and, in the second match, he again remained unbeaten at 60*.

With the ball, too, he delivered. He bagged a wicket in both matches. Due to his performance, some have started considering him as a backup option for Hardik Pandya. After the match, the 30-year-old Dube gave credit for his performance to MS Dhoni.

The credit goes to the CSK team and Mahi bhai because I have always had the game in me. But bringing out the best in a player is something done by CSK.

Dube played under Dhoni for the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In the 2023 IPL, he scored 411 runs from 14 innings.
