Chennai Super Kings (CSK) batter Ruturaj Gaikwad shared a picture on social media after his team’s fifth IPL title win. As CSK defeated Gujarat Titans (GT) in the summit clash of IPL 2023, Gaikwad celebrated by sharing a special picture on his social media handles. The CSK opening batter posed alongside MS Dhoni and his girlfriend Utkarsha Pawar. 

Gaikwad also wrote a special caption for the post. The 26-year-old referred to Dhoni and his girlfriend as two very very important persons in his life.

“2 VVIPs OF MY LIFE Grateful to god for this,” wrote Gaikwad in the caption of his post. Meanwhile, Gaikwad’s rumored girlfriend Sayali Sanjeev congratulated the couple. “Heartiest congratulations to both of you,” commented Sayali on the post. 

Ruturaj Gaikwad set to marry Utkarsha Pawar

The Maharashtra cricketer is all set to marry Utkarsha Pawar in the next week. As per reports, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Utkarsha Pawar are set to tie the knot on 3-4 June and the CSK batter has sought personal leave for the same from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

Notably, Gaikwad who was named as one of the standbys, was set to fly to England for the World Test Championship Final after the IPL 2023 Final. However, the 26-year-old has decided to give it a miss for his marriage. Yashaswi Jaiswal was added to the squad as Gaikwad’s replacement. 

He (Jaiswal) will be joining the Indian team as Gaikwad has informed us that he won’t be able to fly due to his marriage. He would be able to join the team post-June 5. (But) Coach Rahul Dravid took a call, asking the selectors to pick a replacement. So, Jaiswal will now fly to London soon.
A BCCI official was quoted saying by the Indian Express

Gaikwad joined CSK in 2019 and played his first IPL match in 2020. In the 2023 season, he scored 590 runs from 16 matches.
