Tempers flared during Wednesday’s Eliminator between Gujarat Giants and India Capitals of the Legends League Cricket (LLC). Gautam Gambhir, who has a history of finding himself at the center of controversy, shared a heated exchange with S Sreesanth.

The incident happened during the second over. After Gambhir hit Sreesanth for a six and a four, a dot ball later started the fight.

On Instagram after the match, Sreesanth accused Gambhir of picking fights without any reason, saying the ex-Indian opener has no respect for his seniors, including Virender Sehwag. In another video, Sreesanth revealed what exactly Gambhir said during their ugly spat.

He added:

He kept calling me that, on live television in the center of the wicket. This is the language he used on live TV. He also said the same thing in front of the umpires as they tried to control him.

S Sreesanth’s wife questions Gautam Gambhir’s upbringing after the fight

After S Sreesanth uploaded that video where he alleged Gautam Gambhir called him a fixer during the match, his wife Bhuvneshwari criticized Gambhir. She questioned his upbringing and expressed her wonder at how Gambhir could act in such a manner despite both sharing the dressing room while playing for India.

It is so shocking to hear from Sree that a player who has played for India with him for many years can stoop to this level. Even after so many years of retirement from Active cricket. After all upbringing matters a lot and it shows up when these kind of behaviour comes up on ground. Shocking truly shocking.
