After spending nearly two months in the Mumbai Indians camp in IPL 2022, cricket great Sachin Tendulkar is enjoying his time away from the game with his family. While in London, the Master Blaster remembered the late spin wizard Shane Warne while dining at a restaurant.

He shared today a post which included a smiling picture of him in front of a beautiful scene that looked like Venice. But instead, the place was London and Tendulkar was in a restaurant, which is situated in a place close to where Warne had stayed when in UK.

He captioned the post with: “Thought of Warnie as we were dining at this restaurant in Little Venice (London), close to where he stayed when in the UK.”

Cricket fraternity was in utmost disbelief when, at such a age of 52, the legendary leg-spinner said adieu to the world following a suspected of heart attack. After his death, social media got flooded with condolences for him.

“Shocked, stunned & miserable…Will miss you Warnie. There was never a dull moment with you around, on or off the field. Will always treasure our on field duels & off field banter. You always had a special place for India & Indians had a special place for you. Gone too young!” Tendulkar paid tribute on Twitter when Shane Warne died.

Warne was one of the greatest cricketer in the world and was a popular figure in India. Under his captaincy, Rajasthan Royals had won the inaugural season in IPL 2008. RR haven’t won the trophy since then. He came back to RR in 2018 and worked as a member of the backroom staff.
