Despite touching 42 years, Shoaib Malik has not stopped his passion for cricket. Playing his first domestic match in 1997, Malik has played at the highest level for 26 years. Currently, in the news due to his third marriage, he has found himself in trouble.

Malik is currently participating in the Bangladesh Premier League, representing Fortune Barishal. In their recent match against Khulna Tigers, Malik didn’t perform with the bat, scoring only 5* off 6 balls. The real problem came when he was sent to bowl. Bowling the 4th over, Malik gave away 18 runs. Along with that, he bowled three no-balls as well. Chasing a target of 188, Khulna Tigers chased it with ease.

While many fans joked that Malik was fixing the match, a journalist from Bangladesh confirmed that he was suspected of the crime. Along with that, the owner of Fortune Barishal had terminated the contract of the 42-year old.
