England pacer Stuart Broad not only embarrassed but also almost injured himself as he hit himself on the face during a game of football. As England players gathered for a game of soccer ahead of the fourth Ashes Test, Broad too joined in but only to get hit on the face. Meanwhile, his mates were left with aching stomachs after seeing the veteran make a fool of himself.

As England get ready for the Aussie challenge at Manchester in what could be a series-deciding match, the players casually played football. Stuart Broad also joined the likes of Mark Wood, Moeen Ali, and James Anderson. However, the veteran pacer ended up embarrassing himself rather.

As the ball went up in the air, Broad went for a kick but in spite of passing it to his teammates, the England pacer hit himself in the face. The others, meanwhile, burst into laughter while Broad wore a wry smile on his face.

Stuart Broad will look not only to get better at his footballing skills, but the pacer would want to contribute more when England take on Australia in the fourth Ashes Test. Having claimed the most number of wickets (16) in the series so far, Broad will look to lead the pace attack one more time at Old Trafford.

With James Anderson back into the mix, Broad will have shared responsibilities with the local boy. But the right-arm pacer will have a chance to shine one more time for his team. Broad will look to make the most of his matchup with David Warner while also keeping other Aussie batters in check.

The fourth Ashe Test gets underway on 29 July at Old Trafford in Manchester. Australia are still leading the five-match series 2-1 but England have the momentum on their side and the hosts would want to make the most of that.
