Former India captain Virat Kohli became father for the second time. On February 15th in London, Anushka Sharma gave birth to son Akaay Kohli.
Kohli opted out of the five-match Test series against England due to “personal reasons“. At first, he was added to the squad for the first two Tests, but he ended up withdrawing his name.

However, India great Sunil Gavaskar made a cheeky comment on the situation, saying that Kohli would opt himself out of the IPL as well. In the IPL, ‘King Kohli’ plays for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Indian youngster, Dhruv Jurel‘s resilient knock of 90 runs took India over the line in the fourth Test, as a result of which they won the Test series as well. His gritty innings on a difficult pitch at a time when his team was losing wickets at regular intervals in the first innings was well praised by the fans and pundits. He won the Player of the Match award as well.
Before his innings, the watchers of the game saw him display his presence of mind while running out Ben Duckett. Gavaskar lauded the 23-year-old’s presence of mind and drew comparisons between him and MS Dhoni.

During his stay at the crease in the second innings, he stitched a 72*-run stand with Shubman Gill as well. He made an unbeaten 39 runs in the second innings. In his debut match in the third Test in Rajkot, Jurel scored 46 runs.
