The inaugural edition of the Major League Cricket (MLC) is underway and so is some thrilling cricketing action. As T20 superstars from across the globe are gathered to play for the six franchises, fans are getting to witness some eye-catching actions. While the fans saw Finn Allen’s bizarre run out, they also saw Dwayne Bravo hitting the longest six of MLC 2023 so far.
The Caribbean all-rounder, known for his foxy slower ones, hit probably one of the fastest bowlers going around in world cricket, Anrich Nortje for a massive six. The ball traveled a massive 106 meters before landing on the roof of the stadium.
As Nortje bowled an into the pitch short ball on the middle and leg stump, Bravo moved across and made room for himself. The Texas Super Kings batter then swung his bat and managed to time his shot to perfection. The result was a huge six over long-on.

Dwayne Bravo fails to take his team home
Despite this mammoth six and a blistering half-century (76* off 39), Dwayne Bravo failed to take his team home as Washington Freedom won the match by six runs. Chasing 164, Super Kings were restricted to 157/8 as Anrich Nortje survived a scare at the end.
As the Washington Freedom bowler got ready to defend 26 runs off the last over, Bravo came roaring at Nortje and hit him for a six on the second ball. However, the right-arm pacer kept his calm and managed to concede only two runs on the next two deliveries. Although Bravo collected ten runs off the last two deliveries, it was not enough.
With this win, Washington Freedom opened their account in the league. Meanwhile, TSK lost the mojo after an emphatic win in their opening game against Los Angeles Knight Riders. Seattle Orcas sit atop the points table with two wins in two games.
