One of his breathtaking matches was one against England in Nottingham. When India were reeling at 31/3, Yadav entered and started right from the word go while chasing 216. He got dismissed after a 55-ball 117 runs, which is also his best T20I score.

He is a late bloomer as he earned his cap at the age of 30 in 2021 and now almost three years later, he became the best T20I player in 2022. After years of showcasing his batting in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Yadav made his debut against England on March 14, 2021. In his maiden T20I match, he sent the first ball he faced, off Jofra Archer, for a six to announce his arrival.

And now, in 45 T20I matches, he has amassed 1578 runs with a highest score of 117 at a strike rate of 180.34. He has three hundred and 13 fifties, while his overall strike rate is also the highest in the shortest format.
