“Finished! Tata, Goodbye!”- Mumbai Indians’ posting paltry target against CSK in El Clasico of IPL triggers hilarious reactions on Twitter
But knowing about the fierce rivalry between the two teams, this match can head toward one of the memorable ones, despite the target; or else, it will one of those one-sided dull matches of IPL.

MI vs CSK
The EL Classico of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is underway. But Mumbai Indians (MI) and their fans did not expect a decent total against Chennai Super Kings (CSK). But knowing about the fierce rivalry between the two teams, this match can head toward one of the memorable ones, despite the target; or else, it will one of those one-sided dull matches of IPL. But nevertheless, the the fans of the respective teams are having lots of fun. Small contributions from a few batters saw Mumbai post 157/8 on Saturday (April 8) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.
CSK skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and as expected they chose to field first. To open the innings, Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan came to give a flying start to Blue Jersey. They had added 38 runs in four overs before Tushar Deshpande’s length delivery bamboozled the MI skipper’s stumps. Rohit scored 21 runs from 13 balls with three fours and a six.
A few overs later, Ravindra Jadeja got rid of Ishan Kishan who also looked dangerous. Kishan had already smashed five boundaries, scoring 32 runs from 21 balls, but he lost control and the ball top-edged to Dwaine Pretorius.
Cameron Green and Suryakumar Yadav had a flop show. While Green received flak for his failing again with the bat, despite being one of the most expensive players in the auction, it was Jadeja’s caught and bowled that hogged the limelight. Jadeja’s eyes seemed closed when the ball smashed into him, but he somehow grabbed it.

Suryakumar Yadav, who is the best T20I batter in the world right now, must be dealing with what happened during the three-match ODI series against Australia, where he fell for golden ducks on all three occasions. MI as well as the fans are waiting to watch another scintillating Suryakumar Yadav show in the upcoming Mumbai matches.
Tilak Varma always comes to the rescue when the team fumbles. But this time, he couldn’t get past Jadeja. He departed after an 18-ball 22-run knock with two fours and a six.
After Arshad Khan’s one run, entered Tim David. It was his knock that saved MI. Had he failed like the other batters, Mumbai would have found it nearly impossible to recover.
He batted at a strike rate of 140.91, scoring 31 runs from 22 balls with four and two sixes. Later, Hritik Shokeen’s unbeaten 18 off 13 took Mumbai to 157/8 in their 20 overs. Amongst the CSK bowlers, Jadeja got three, Tushar Deshpande and Mitchell Santner picked up two, while debutant Sisanda Magala grabbed one wicket.
