Krunal Pandya
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) all-rounder Krunal Pandya provided his team with an early wicket when he sent Gujarat Titan’s (GT) Shubman Gill back to the hut for a duck on Saturday (April 22) at the Ekana Sports City in Lucknow. After drawing the first blood, Krunal then inflicted another blow by dismissing the opener Wriddhiman Saha as well.
Gill faced just two balls when he danced down the track to loft a fullish delivery off Krunal in the second over. The ball was high up in the air but did not get the desired distance and fell sharply on to the hands of Ravi Bishnoi.
Saha then added 68 runs with skipper Hardik Pandya and the team seemed to be in a decent position. However, Krunal with the ball did the job again for his team.
The full-toss delivery made Saha loft it but he too did not get the distance he wanted. The ball traveled toward Deepak Hooda who also took a sharp catch. Saha headed back to the dugout after scoring 47 runs from 37 balls with six boundaries.

Krunal Pandya wrapped up his overs with two wickets for just 16 runs in his full quota. And he bowled at an economy of 4.
At the time of writing this piece, Gujarat skipper Hardik Pandya, who started slowly, is going for big hits. He has already scored his half-century and is taking Gujarat to at least a competitive total. The visitors have reached 121/4 in 17 overs and now David Miller, who is also at the crease right now, has to open his arms in the final two overs, or else they’ll have to suffer a defeat against the hosts who has a strong batting line-up.
