Twitterati creates hilarious memes as Sikandar Raza’s knock helps PBKS thrash LSG
The man who played a decent knock for the PBKS was Sikandar Raza. Despite the fall of wickets at regular intervals, Raza kept his cool and went on to score 57 runs from 41 balls.
LSG vs PBKS
From the very start, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) looked helpless, first in the batting department and then they couldn’t defend their paltry 160-run target. Punjab Kings (PBKS) seemed to have got the upper hand from the very start and eventually, they won the match by two wickets on Saturday (April 15) at the Ekana Sports City in Lucknow.
Chasing the 160-run target, PBKS fumbled at first owing to Yudhvir Singh who got rid of the openers, Atharva Taide and Prabhsimran Singh in the first and third over respectively. However, Matthew Short and Harpreet Singh tried to steady the ship for a while before Krishnappa Gowtham’s delivery broke the budding stand between the two batters by dismissing the former. Short scored 34 runs from 22 balls with five fours and a six at a strike rate of 154.55.
Harpreet rather played a slow knock, scoring 22 runs from the same number of deliveries but Krunal Pandya got rid of him in the 11th over. Then PBKS lost Sam Curran’s wicket.
