On Monday (January 22), most of the Indians celebrated at their home or either in the temples after the Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with over 6000 celebrities were invited by the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra to attend the ceremony.
Sachin Tendulkar, Ravindra Jadeja, and Anil Kumble, among other cricketers, attended the ceremony. Virat Kohli was also invited but as per some reports, he did not attend the ceremony due to some emergency. Kohli will also not play in the first two Test matches against England.

As India celebrated the consecration ceremony, Australia’s David Warner, who recently retired from Test cricket, sent his wishes to the Indians. He shared a picture of Lord Rama with the caption: “Jai Sri Ram INDIA.”

David Warner fails to understand why Cricket Australia hasn’t revoked the leadership ban yet
David Warner was involved in the infamous ball-tampering saga in 2018 during Australia’s match against South Africa. As a result of this, Cricket Australia imposed a lifetime leadership ban on him, plus a ban from playing cricket for a year. Warner recently revealed he is willing to do the coaching job but for the role, CA has to revoke the leadership ban.

What's the difference between captaining and coaching? You've got more responsibility as a coach, wouldn't you think so? I don't know, I'm not sure, I don't know how to answer. It's been five years, and I still don't know how to answer.Warner told Code Sports (quoted by news.com.au)
Warner will be playing his next international match on February 1, in the first T20I against West Indies. He also retired from ODIs recently.
