“End of a cold war?”- Urvashi Rautela makes Twitterverse ‘LOL’ after her “I am sorry” to Rishabh Pant

India wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant has been making headlines quite a lot, not due to any game related activities though, but of his online ugly war with Bollywood actor Urvashi Rautela.

Apparently, before the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2022, a video clip of Urvashi saying how a certain “Mr RP” had waited for her in the hotel lobby, where she was staying, for 10 hours to meet her. She felt so ‘bad’ that she couldn’t meet him because she fell asleep due to her hectic schedule.

Pant then posted a story on Instagram slamming Urvashi before deleting it. In that story, he blamed Urvashi for lying for “meagre popularity”.

“It’s funny how people lie in interviews just for some meagre popularity and for hitting the headines,” wrote Pant. Sad how some people are thirsty for fame and name. May God bless them”. He added hashtags- “Mera picha chhoro behen (Sister please leave me) and “Jhuth ki bhi limit hoti hai (Lying has limit)’ at the end of the message.

Urvashi replied with: “Chotu bhaiyaa (young brother) should play bat and ball…main koyi munni nahi hoon badnaam hone (I am no naive girl to be defamed) with young kiddo darling tere liye Rakshabandhan mubarak ho.” She also added hashtags- RP Chotu bhaiya Cougar Hunter and Don’t take advantage of a silent girl.

During Asia Cup 2022 match against Pakistan, Urvashi was there in the stadium giving fans more chances to make memes on these two.

Today a video has been going viral on social media. In an intervew with Instant Bollywood during an award show, a journalist asked Urvashi about Pant to which she said, “Seedhi baat no bakwas. And that’s why I will not be doing any bakwas (To the point answer with no nonsense and therefore I will not be passing any nonsense comment).”

The journalist further asked if she has a message for Pant and her answer was, “All I want to say is…umm…nothing. I am sorry.”
