The Indian Veteran Premier League is currently going on in Noida, with former international stars participating. Legends of the game like Chris Gayle, Suresh Raina, Herschelle Gibbs, Yusuf Pathan and Dwayne Bravo are participating in the competition. 

In attendance for one of the matches, five popular doppelgangers decided to attend the match. The look-alike of Sachin Tendulkar was joined by the look-alikes of Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Sunil Narine and MS Dhoni

In the video that has gone viral, the quintet took a trophy and posed in the unique ways the players do. The Sunil Narine look-alike, Ajay Kapoor, passed the trophy to the Tendulkar look-alike, Balvir Chand. 

Chand then handed the trophy to Ram Dhawan, the Dhawan look-alike, who kissed it and did the iconic ‘Gabbar celebration’. The trophy was then handed to Rishab Malakar and Pawan Kumar, the look-alikes of MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli.

Fans shocked by video, joking they never want to see it again 

When the video went viral, many fans joked how they saw the video of the wrong “multiverse”. Some joked that the quintet were the only hopes for India winning the World Cup, referencing their finals loss against Australia in the 2023 ODI World Cup. Some joked how they were the players when purchased from ‘Naaptol’.

The five look-alikes have grown in popularity in the past year thanks to their uncanny resemblance to the cricket stars. They regularly upload reels and photos of themselves, which garner thousands of views. They are also regularly used in memes by content creators. Combined, the five have over 100k followers on Instagram.
