Virat Kohli slammed his 47th ODI century in Asia Cup
On Monday (September 11), Virat Kohli slammed his 47th ODI century during the 2023 Asia Cup. It came while facing arch-rivals Pakistan in the Super Four stage at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
With this century, he inched closer to breaking Sachin Tendulkar‘s record for most ODI centuries. The Master Blaster has blasted 49 tons in the 50-over format and in all possibilities, Kohli will surpass him to top the list. He may reach the milestone this year during the ODI World Cup.
The Delhi-born batter will be seen next on the cricket field on Wednesday (September 27) during the third ODI between India and Australia. Rohit Sharma and Co. will be playing a three-match ODI series and Kohli and other important players are rested for the first two matches.

But after the Ind vs Pak match of the 2016 Asia Cup, she rather got glued to the TV screen. That year she watched the major cricket tournaments, WWE matches, and the Olympics (especially Usain Bolt's races). After reading about the big names in tennis and becoming an ardent follower, she dreams of visiting Wimbledon one day.
