India will be hosting the ODI World Cup for the fourth time and for the first time, they will be the sole host of the tournament. This means the cricketers, apart from the pressure of being the favorites to claim the title, are pressurized even more, albeit, for the free tickets.

However, former India captain Virat Kohli has a request for his friends who are asking him for free tickets. Kohli put up a story on his Instagram requesting his friends to watch the matches from home and not ask him for the tickets during the tournament.

As we approach the World Cup, I would humbly like to let all my friends know to not request me for tickets at all through the tournament. Enjoy from your homes please,” he wrote.

Here’s his story:

Kohli will be appearing in his fourth ODI World Cup tournament. His first appearance was in 2011 in India when the team led by MS Dhoni had a successful campaign when they defeated Sri Lanka to crown as world champions.
