The highest total in ODI scored here was in 2013 between India and Australia (383/6). The highest run chase here was by Ireland when they went past England’s 327 by totaling 329/7.
It was here India captain Rohit Sharma blasted one of his double century (209). Sachin Tendulkar has scored the most runs here (534). This year, after the Indian Premier League (IPL), the stadium hosted all the matches of the Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 tournament.
Gouri Das is a cricket writer at FirstSportz. Despite always being a sporty kid, she disliked being inactive in one place for a long time to watch a match. But after the Ind vs Pak match of the 2016 Asia Cup, she rather got glued to the TV screen. That year she watched the major cricket tournaments, WWE matches, and the Olympics (especially Usain Bolt's races). After reading about the big names in tennis and becoming an ardent follower, she dreams of visiting Wimbledon one day.
