India captain Rohit Sharma suggested an interesting rule for cricket when it comes to sixes. Rohit wants 10 runs to award to those batters who hit a 100-meter six in international cricket.

Rohit is known for hitting those breathtaking maximums over the boundary ropes. His pull shots are one of the best shots to watch in cricket.

The 36-year-old, who has smacked 551 sixes so far, is on the verge of surpassing Chris Gayle to become the batter with the most sixes in international cricket. The West Indian legend currently tops the list with two sixes more than Rohit.

If a batter hits a 90m six, it should be 8 runs. If it’s a 100m six, it should be 10 runs. There should be some reward for hitting such sixes that go a long way. Now, whether the ball lands very far or just behind the rope, it’s still six runs,” Rohit Sharma told journalist Vimal Kumar on the latter’s YouTube channel.
