BCCI to discuss Virat Kohli’s future in T20Is

Virat Kohli is yet to play a T20I match since India’s T20 World Cup exit in 2022 and the same is Rohit Sharma’s story. And while the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) reportedly wants Sharma to lead in the 2024 T20 World Cup, Kohli’s place in the side is uncertain.

Reports have now come out that the BCCI will sit with Kohli to discuss his future in T20Is. The selectors are looking for a player who can attack the opposition right from the word go and want Ishan Kishan to handle the role.

Kohli and Sharma won’t feature in the upcoming T20I series in South Africa starting on December 10. They will join Team India for the two-match Test series against the same team with the first match scheduled on December 26.
