Rohit Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal were seen pulling legs of Indian journalists asking them who had spread the rumours about players’ personal lives on Friday. Ahead of the electrifying clash between India and Pakistan on Sunday, August 28, Indian sides were practicing in Dubai and a host of journalists from across the countries have reached the spot to cover the mega tournament.

Rohit and Chahal had been talking about tweets and reports on players’ personal live and the journalists were clearing the air too. In one moment, Rohit could be heard asking the name of the journalist who had been reporting on their personal lives. He said this, “Kaun hain? Batao?”. But the reporters didn’t reveal the name of that journalist despite claiming that he might know who did this.

Chahal then jokingly said, “Ye antakshari thodi hi chal rahi hain. Idhar antakshari khelein kya? (We are not playing ‘guess the names’ here).

Notably, Yuzvendra Chahal had been in news not due to his match performance but his relationship with wife Dhanashree Verma. Dhanashree had removed the Chahal’s name from her Instagram bio and Chahal then posted a story that said, “New life loading”.

Fans couldn’t stop sharing their opinion on Twitter about how this shows about a potential rift between the couple that might end in a divorce. The couple then posted a story urging fans not to believe in any rumours. Dhanashree then shared a long post on her Instagram sharing about how she has sustained an injury that stopped her from dancing and how nothing is wrong with Chahal. She later signed off her post with “DVC”.

Chahal will lead the spin attack along with veteran Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Ravi Bishnoi when India will walk onto the field during Asia Cup 2022.
