Delhi Capitals (DC) captain David Warner is one of the most jovial characters on the cricket field. While Warner keeps his fans entertained with his videos, the Australia batter stays in high spirits on the field. Warner ensures he stays in a happy mood and the Aussie batter does everything to keep the environment light-hearted. An example of the same was seen during DC’s game against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

As DC were chasing a mammoth 224, Warner came with a predetermined target in his head. The DC captain kept the tempo high despite wickets falling from the other end. Warner scored a half-century off 32 balls and kept going. The southpaw irritated the CSK bowlers with his brilliant execution of shots.

Warner also kept the CSK fielders in check with his running between the wickets. Amid this cat-and-mouse game, David Warner also teased Ravindra Jadeja. As the DC captain survived a close runout call, he teased Jadeja by imitating the all-rounder’s famous sword celebration. Meanwhile, Jadeja was left with a big smile on his face.

This was not the first instance where Warner tried to take on Jadeja. Earlier, when the CSK spinner came into the attack, Warner tried to throw him off the track by playing some outrageous shots. While Jadeja managed to outfox Warner in a few instances, the DC captain eventually won the battle.

As Jadeja came to bowl his last over, Warner along with Axar Patel, accumulated 23 runs off the over. While Patel hit a six first ball, Warner a boundary and two sixes to keep the left-arm spinner in check. Overall, Warner scored 28 runs off 15 balls against Jadeja. As a result of the assault in the last over, Jadeja finished his spell with bowling figures of 4-0-50-1.

On the other hand, Deepak Chahar impressed everyone with his disciplined bowling. The right-arm pacer picked three key wickets (Philip Salt, Rilee Rossouw, and Axar Patel) in his four overs and that too at the expense of 22 runs.
