David Warner, the veteran batter of Australian cricket who often tries to entertain the fans across the cricket-playing nation, found a unique way of leaving them in awe. The Big Bash League (BBL) season has started and ahead of Sydney Thunder‘s first match against Sydney Sixers, Warner arrived at the SCG in a helicopter on Friday (January 12).

The sight was unusual for the cricket fans, but Warner did not do this just to entertain them. There’s a reason behind this unique entry.

He was at his brother’s wedding in Hunter Valley and flew there directly to make sure he arrived there on time. The Hollywood-style entry of Warner on his home ground was an instant hit among the netizens as such scenes rarely happen in a cricket stadium.

Sean Abbott wants to emulate David Warner’s entry but with a bike

Sydney Sixers’ Sean Abbott called David Warner’s entry Hollywood style and revealed his desire to emulate him by riding to the stadium on bike. The 31-year-old pacer also praised Warner because of how much he contributed to Australian cricket.

He is a bit Hollywood, isn't he? That's very Davey. I got the Lime bike today, and I'll be doing the same tomorrow night and riding out the game as Davey lands.
Abbott was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo

The 37-year-old Warner recently retired from Test cricket and ODIs after playing 112 and 161 matches in both formats. From these matches, he scored 8,786 and 6,932 runs respectively.

He still represents the national side in T20Is and is expected to play his last T20 World Cup, which is scheduled in June this year.
