This happened during the 19th over of the West Indies innings. Shai Hope stole an extra run due to Thakur’s sloppy fielding off Kuldeep Yadav‘s first over. Rohit looked visibly frustrated and couldn’t control himself. The video of the same has been going viral on Twitter.

Rohit Sharma reminisces about batting at No.7

Instead of opening the match, Rohit Sharma came to bat at the No.7 position for the first time since his debut in 2007 and could score an unbeaten 12 runs. Ishan Kishan and Shubman Gill opened the innings for the team. Rohit’s batting position became the talking point of the match and after the match, he reminisced about his rookie days.
“I made my debut for India and was batting at number 7, which reminded me of those days,” Rohit said at the post-match presentation. Rohit made his debut against Ireland on June 23, 2007.
