Gujarat Titans win IPL 2022

Meanwhile, the match ended up on Gujarat’s side as the best team throughout the league matches and playoffs were meant to win the finals to with their team and captain. They beat the Men in Pink by 7 wickets with Hardik Pandya displaying his bolwing side by bagging the most important wickets.

He had started with taking the big, Jos Buttler‘s wicket, followed by RR skipper Sanju Samson and then the West Indian power hitter Shirmron Hetmyer. While batting, he proved his all-rounding skills and scored a crucial 34 runs off 30 balls.

Rajasthan’s dependency on Jos Buttler alone yet again failed them in the final. With Buttler scoing only 39 runs off 35 balls, Rajasthan was below what they are known for. They just had put a mere 130/9 on the score-board which the Titans have easily chased it with Shubman Gill playing a slow innings with 45 runs off 43 balls.

Moreover, Gujarat had the psycological advantage; playing in their home ground with crowds roaring for Hardik Pandya and men. At last, no one had thought about any other team winning the trophy apart from Chennai or Mumnai. But a new team entered tournament with a debutant captain and brought back the coveting cup.
