Two Delhi boys- Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma were once again pitted against each other on Saturday as Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) took on each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. But unlike the other day, the two ended by sharing a burst of laughter rather than a heated argument. Both Ishant and Kohli could be seen with wide smiles on their faces as they caught up after the game.

Sharma even ended up pranking Kohli as the players from the two teams were chilling together after the game was done. Ishant Sharma, Virat Kohli, Axar Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Ripal Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav were seen sharing some light-hearted talks post the match.

It was then Sharma caught Kohli off guard and threw a paper ball at him. While Kohli could just smile, Axar Patel was left in splits after witnessing this.  Kohli was then seen saying something to Axar as if he wanted to convey that Ishant has always been like this.

Notably, the bond between Virat Kohli and Ishant Sharma goes a long way back. Time and again the two players have accepted that they share a really healthy bond. In an interview, Sharma revealed how the friendship started when they met at U-17 trials. The Delhi pacer then talked about how despite not playing together, the two players always remained in touch and how Kohli did not change even after getting India’s captaincy.

“We have been like this since our childhood. It’s not like he changed after getting India’s captaincy and never said that you can’t joke around me now. He has always said that we have been friends and will stay like that,” Sharma had said on Delhi Capitals YouTube channel.
